How much does it cost to install a SureFlap cat flap?

SureFlap installation starts from £80 in a UPvc door, from £140 in a composite door and from £280 if we're cutting into glass (this includes a new toughened glass panel). Prices are fixed before we book — no surprises on the day.

Can you fit a SureFlap in my existing glass door?

Toughened or double-glazed units cannot be cut. We replace the existing pane with a new toughened glass unit pre-cut for the SureFlap. Most glass jobs are completed within 2–3 weeks of survey.

Will the SureFlap work with my cat's microchip?

Yes — SureFlap reads all standard 9, 10 and 15-digit microchips used by UK vets. We programme your cat in during the install and test it before we leave.

Do I need to buy the SureFlap before you visit?

You can supply your own or we can bring one — we stock all current SureFlap models at trade prices and pass the saving on. Either way, the install price is the same.

How long does a SureFlap fitting take?

Most UPvc, composite and wooden door installs are completed in 45–90 minutes in a single visit. Glass jobs are a quick survey followed by a separate fit visit once the new pane arrives.

Is the SureFlap install covered by a guarantee?
