About Alderley Edge
Alderley Edge is one of England's most affluent villages, made famous by Alan Garner's 'The Weirdstone of Brisingamen' and the dramatic National Trust sandstone escarpment that gives it its name. Home to Premier League footballers, upmarket restaurants along London Road, and the Wizard of the Edge legend.
Cat Flap Fitting in Alderley Edge — What to Expect
Alderley Edge is dominated by large detached properties, contemporary architect-designed builds and Victorian villas — a huge proportion have wide glass bi-fold doors, feature glazed side panels or heritage timber back doors. Because most of the glass here is toughened sealed units, cat flap fitting almost always means supplying a brand-new pre-cut toughened pane rather than modifying the existing glazing.
Cat Owners in Alderley Edge
With The Edge itself on your doorstep and quiet lanes running down to Nether Alderley and Great Warford, Alderley Edge cats have some of the best territory in Cheshire. A microchip or DualScan flap (SureFlap or OnlyCat) is strongly recommended here — it keeps neighbourhood cats and the occasional fox out of high-value kitchens.
